Mike Tyson Reveals Vegan Motivation On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (Video)

Mike Tyson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where he discussed his latest film, The Hangover 2 and being vegan.
Tyson was partially motivated to go vegan because there is a history of obesity in his family. He also didn’t want his children to grow up unhealthy and wanted to set a good example.
“My whole family’s obese,” Tyson said. “I wanted to break that cycle because certain members [of my family]–my children were gaining weight and stuff. I can’t just say, “Hey, you’re fat, lose weight, do this workout, do this and I’m 400 pounds.”
Good point.
“So I said we’re going to break this cycle by trying to live by example.”
Tyson lost over 100 pounds by ditching animal products.

Mike.
You’re the Man! Hats off to you! Only the uneducated and petty will be as insecure as to be bothered to mouth off against vegan food. You must remember that most animal-eaters are insecure about the reality of meat, and will lash out as defence and, as the above shows clearly, only make a stronger case for their bias against people who make a kinder life for themselves and the planet.
