Quantcast Vegetarian StarPaula Deen Diabetes Secret

You knew the cream filled double burger wrapped in bacon between two glazed donuts and deep-fried twice was going to catch up with her.

A story featured in the May 10 edition of the National Enquierer claims Southern Queen Paula Deen was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago. What’s worst, it hints Deen wants to keep this a secret, fearing revealing she developed a condition linked very closely to poor diet may make her look bad. Because it’s good for the brand to continue killing other people.

“When Paula was diagnosed with diabetes, I think she was worried that if her secret got out, it would make her look like a hypocrite,” says the Enquirer. “Ironically, the very thing that made her rich and famous turned her into a poster child for what could happen if you follow in her footsteps.”

It’s no secret red and processed meats increase the risk of Type 2 diabetes. And Deen’s favorite cuisine has always been no less than a standard plate of the stereotypical southern fried food sourced from the four fatal food groups–beef, chicken, pork, butter and cream.

The Southern parts of the United States aren’t strangers  to diabetes. According to the Centers For Disease Control, three-quarters of counties in the southern region that includes Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina have high rates of diabetes and obesity.

The Enquierer hints that a Deen food makeover on television has the potential to impact the lives of thousands.

“Hopefully she’ll come clean to her fans. Paula is so popular that her honesty could help people change their lives.”
