Olivia Munn, Myq Kaplan Headline Sanctuary’s “Comedy For Karma”

Olivia Munn and vegan comedian Myq Kaplan are just two well-known funny stars with a love for animals that are headlining Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary’s Comedy for Karma IV on Tuesday, April 05, 2011.
The event is an annual fundraiser for the sanctuary which is home to dozens of chickens, pigs, cows, goats and other rescued farm animals that are available to interact with and get to know during its touring season.
The 4th Comedy for Karma will take place at Gotham Comedy Club at 208 w 23rd, between 7th & 8th Aves., in New York City. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and show starts promptly at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $40 in advance for general admission or $75 for reserved VIP seats. General admission tickets at the door the night of the show sell for $50.
Munn is an endless advocate for animals, starring in PSAs against circus cruelty and speaking out against horse-draw carriages in New York City.
Kaplan is a vegan comedian known for taking stabs at his own diet and lifestyle during acts and was a top 5 finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Other acts performing that evening will be vegan cartoonist Dan Piraro, The Daily Show correspondents John Oliver and Wyatt Cenac, Gary Gulman and Jamie Kilstein.
