Quantcast Vegetarian StarKaty Perry Russell Brand Wedding Vegan, Too Noisy For Animals

Russell Brand and Katy Perry finally tied the knot recently in a ceremony that was vegan, according to several sources around the web.

The animals are thankful they weren’t eaten, but according to Ecorazzi, they may have wanted a little peace in the early morning hours, as Russell and Katy’s after party may have violated noise ordinances.

After the traditional Hindu wedding, guests stayed in the nearby Ranthambore National Park. Some of the guests reportedly played loud music until 2:30 AM, which violates state mandated noise pollution laws as it disturbs the wild animals in the area.

The complaint is being taken so seriously, a four member committee has been appointed to follow up on the allegation.

“The officials would submit their report as soon as they find some substantial input in this regard,” said Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. β€œI had already appointed a four-member committee to check violation of rules in the eco-sensitive area and the members visited the venue yesterday.”

Katy and Russell’s party antics may have gotten the innocent locals in trouble.

β€œIt was a private event and we have nothing to do with it but the resort will be penalized if they found guilty of violation of any rule,” he added.

While some may find the story amusing, animals can and do suffer from not being able to pop earplugs in to drown out nuisances.

The birds, for example, may not have had a Honeymoon that night. Since the animals communicate mainly by sound, loud noises can reduce their pairing by up to 15%. Some researchers think this is because either the male’s sound is being drown out or is actually being distorted by the competing sounds. Either way, the female isn’t able to hear it.
