Quantcast Vegetarian StarBob Harper And Quaker Oats “Quaker Amazing Mornings Contest”

Bob Harper has teamed up with Quaker Oats to give three people an opportunity for some one on one advice from him as well as a pantry stocked full of breakfast food.

From now until October 8, people may visit www.Facebook.com/Quaker or Quakeroats.com to enter the Quaker Amazing Mornings Contest. Three winners will receive a visit from Harper who will counsel on their exercise activities, a two month’s supply of Quaker oatmeal products, plus four weekly visits from a registered dietitian.

“It’s time for Americans to re-prioritize their mornings – and eating a healthy breakfast should be a top priority for both children and adults,” said Harper. “We all know breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day, which is why I’m so excited to work with Quaker to help more Americans jumpstart their morning routines.”

Oatmeal is more than a vegetarian staple. It’s been suggested to do multiple wonders for human health, including lowering cholesterol, reducing cardiovascular risks, prevent heart failure, provide protective heart benefits for post-menopausal women, enhance the immune system, stabilize blood sugar, lower type 2 diabetes risk, protect against breast cancer with its fiber content and help childhood asthma.

Whew! Don’t forget that it’s a great alternative to wheat for Celiacs.

“Our priority is to teach people the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast and motivate them to rethink what it means to start their days with an amazing morning that includes Quaker oatmeal,” explained Shelley Haus, Director of Breakfast, Quaker Oats. “Through our partnership with Bob Harper, we will work together to energize consumers and provide them with ways to live a healthier lifestyle starting with their morning routine.”
