Janet Jackson Blackglama Fur Deal Makes PETA FURious

Janet Jackson‘s latest business deal doesn’t make much sense at all.
The singer and actress has signed on to be the face of the American fur label Blackglama, the same company names like Liz Hurley have represented in the past.
Although she can’t get enough of vegetarian restaurants in Atlanta and finds it hard to choose between vegan cookies and soy milk, Jackson has no problem whatsoever putting the dead on the outside of her body.
And this makes PETA steamed.
Spokesperson from the animal rights group, Amanda Schinke, said. “It’s amazing what celebrities will do when their careers are on a downslide, but we didn’t think that Janet was this desperate.”
“Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognize that both occur in the production of a fur coat. We are asking her to think again and to donate these stolen skins to be used as bedding for animals orphaned by other human-caused disasters, such as loss of habitat.”
Jackson will represent the brand’s “What Becomes A Legend Most?” campaign in ads that will debut worldwide in September in print magazines, billboards and online publications.
