Chris Rock “Jay Leno Show” Michael Vick: Pit Bulls Ain’t Real Dogs

Chris Rock was on the The Jay Leno Show recently when he started talking about Michael Vick.
According to girliegirlarmy.com, Chris said:
“What the hell did Michael Vick do, man? A dog, a pit bull ain’t even a real dog. A pit bull, that’s the white stuff. Dogs are white mans best friend – dogs have never been good to black people.”
Wow.
Talk about cruel, offensive, and plain stupid.
We bet the inner city kids benefiting from the anti-dog fighting outreach efforts of the Humane Society would say their pit bulls are their best friends and they’re thankful someone other than Chris Rock taught them about how to love a pet.
But heck, why are we even paying attention to Chris Rock?
He’s not even a real comedian anyway.

For all you dog lovers out there… If you’re truly serious about caring for dogs, then you, yourselves, come up with a program too save them…
Last I checked a man life was worth more than a animal. Not saying that dog fighting is not wrong, however two character assination is just as wrong…
If you don’t like chris rock comedy… ‘Which by the way is real, and he is a millionaire because of it,’… Then don’t listen or watch… I don’t pay attention too Rush L… And his nothing but a races…
So please get over it.. The same way you guys want my people too get over our enslavement. Is that real enough for you.

Reggie, there are programs to save dogs. Have you heard of the ASPCA, the Humane Society and countless other rescue and education programs?
The problem is that thousands of dogs are being bred, neglected and treated as objects for personal gain. It is called abuse.
Chris Rock’s comedy style has nothing to do with it except that by saying it’s just a dog and that pit bulls are not even dogs, it is allowing the issue to be swept under the rug or worse yet, condoned.
Is that real enough for you?

I think people like this are the reason pit bulls have the bad name they now have because people have breed them and trained them to be this way. And celebritys espically saying these things when people look up to them just makes the neglect and abuse of these dogs seem ok. Pit bulls are just as wonderful as any other dog breed and should be treated and loved for the wonderful creatures they are.

Personally it is just easier for me to look over ignorant ppl such as chris.. not all pits are bad, my parents had one.. and from a puppy, and raised it like a kid.. that dog would always jump in the bath tub when any little kid was in the bath, and loved to be hugged just like a kid.. she died about 9 or 10yrs ago..

If the pit bull is a white mans dog, why do I see so many black people in my community with them? They out number the white people that have them by 2-1. I’m a white woman but I wouldn’t own one, I’m not saying they’re bad animals, it’s just that I prefer another breed.

Last Time I looked, Pit Bulls ARE DOGS and Pits are Good to Kind, Compassionate Owners (no matter what ethnic background or race!)
They (the dogs) dont discriminate or attack UNLESS they are TRAINED to do so. Puppies and babies are born innocent and Learn behavior (good or bad).
If you think making jokes helps you get ahead as a comedian — it really IS NOT FUNNY and it makes me think LESS of YOU.
IM DISAPPOINTED AND ASHAMED of a high profile person that can so much for animals (adoptions of pit bulls, the war against dog fighting and abuse) that chooses not do so.
