Christian Bale No Longer Vegetarian: Vampire Cravings Got To Him

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Dark Night Terminator dude Christian Bale has admitted to some less than vegetarian ways.
Bale failed to pay his membership dues to the veg club shortly after completing filming for American Psycho.
The bodybuilding and unbuilding you’ve done for your roles is alarming—the former all the more so for its being accomplished without any animal protein.
Actually, I’m in and out of the vegetarianism now. But yeah, the majority of the building up you’re talking about was done when I was still a vegetarian.
Dietary reasons? Or something to do with the character?
I was up in Toronto and went to see that movie Life Is Beautiful. By myself. And when I came out, I had a craving for blood unlike anything I had ever experienced since I decided to go vegetarian at the age of 7. It was a compulsion. It was undeniable. I went to several restaurants, one right after the other, and got the biggest, bloodiest steaks I could get my hands on. It was the first time I had tasted flesh in almost twenty years.
Argh! Life is beautiful, but not so much for animals when Christian gets his vampire cravings for bloody steak.
Why the change of heart (less), man?

Come on, don’t you see the info there. He’s telling a reporter that he craved flesh after seeing Life is Beautiful, a movie about a Nazi Concentration camp.

If it was a joke, it was a bad one, if not, he is idiot. I am vegetarian 8 years long and vegan 4 years long and such a thing as a “meat craving” can’t exist anymore, because your body is out of the poison. Plus, if you do it for ethics and out of love and compassion for animals like me and the rest of compassionate vegetarians/vegans, you remember all the time what slaughter and torture meat represents and you just can’t “crave” meat again. Meat is murder, torture, a corpse, blood, disease, toxins etc. How can you crave that after finding out how things stand from the animal, health or others points of view??

Holy shit, guys.. Chill out. You are seriously delusional if you think that animals are in pain when being slaughtered – It’s a tough word, slaughtered, but it shouldn’t be. There is very little pain involved when they die..
Nothing is wrong with being a vegetarian, that’s fine – But calling people who eat meat violent and evil-that’s plain wrong. If you call others evil or mean for eating meat, then you’re a bloody dickhead.
Maybe Bale was joking, maybe he wasn’t – Who honestly gives a shit.
