Hunters Can’t Stop Carrie Underwood At ACM Awards
Written by Vegetarian Star on April 6th, 2009 in Animal Issues, Female Singers.
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow can stop the postman and neither hunters nor Humane Society haters can stop Carrie Underwood.
The country music singer and American Idol winner scored big at the 44th Academy of Country Music Awards, winning both entertainer of the year and top female vocalist.
There was controversy with some of her fans over her decision to donate proceeds from this year’s American Idol elimination song she sings to the Humane Society of the United States. Some even urged others online to vote for anyone else but Carrie in the ACM awards.

If they had a problem with anything that she does, and especially if they were urging people to vote for anyone but her for Entertainer of the Year, they weren’t fans to begin with. The world should be thankful that there still are wonderful and compassionate human beings like Carrie on the planet. A little note to those who think that they can derail Carrie’s career in any way, shape, or form, THINK AGAIN. Myself, and the rest of her fans have her back, and we’re here to ensure that nothing you do will affect her.
