Meatless Mouthful: Clint Eastwood No Vegetarian Either. Got It?

“You find all kinds of things written about you that you don’t have the foggiest notion where they came from. I’m not a vegetarian. I love sushi and stuff like that. I do have to watch my fat intake, because I’m 78 years old.”
—Actor Clint Eastwood, in an interview with Canoe, on the rumors circulating the Internet that he is a vegan and/or vegetarian. We recently learned he practically fainted after learning of the rumor that he was a vegan. Apparently, he wants to make sure you know he’s no darn vegetarian either.
Well, excuse us, sushi man!

I don’t think he was offended by the “accusation”, I think it’s more that he’s bewildered by all these rumors that float around on the internet, which is a foreign place to him. Based on that quote I believe he doesn’t eat too much meat and most of it is seafood.
