The King’s Speech producer Emile Sherman is known for creating an Academy Award nominated film portraying King George VI and his battle to overcome stuttering.

But it may not be as well known that Sherman is also the force behind one of Australia’s biggest animal welfare organizations, Voiceless, which Sherman established in only a year after seeing video footage of factory farms during a United States animal rights conference.

I don’t understand why an animal’s spirit – its life – is so undervalued. There are other ways to do things.”
