Quantcast Vegetarian StarPlayboy

Comedian Russell Brand, who will next appear in Get Him to the Greek, heads to a Yoga studio wearing acid wash jeans and flip flops

So many Playboy readers know that staying away from artery clogging meat may help prevent impotence, which is bad for, uh, enjoying Playboy, so more than likely if you read Vegetarian Star, you’ve already read Russell Brand‘s interview with the magazine.

Playboy asked Brand how he felt about being voted PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Alive not once, but twice.

Here’s what Brand had to say:

“Being the world’s sexiest vegetarian is akin to being the world’s most lovable pedophile. In a way it’s as much a condemnation as it is an endorsement. But I’m proud to be considered sexy, let alone the world’s sexiest in any category. If I were nominated to be the sexiest man on this sofa, I would happily accept that title.”

Joanna Krupa Playboy December 2009

Joanna Krupa is gracing the cover of Playboy magazine for the December 2009 issue.

The Dancing With The Stars competitor is looking hot and may be able to thank both genes and diet for getting herself on the Hugh Hefner bible.

Joanna follows a diet of what she calls “95% fishatarian” and says she feels great without the meat.

“If I have a strong craving for meat, I have a steak,” she said. “But interestingly enough my craving for meat is decreasing.”

While we’re proud of Joanna for cutting back on meat, but we’re afraid her fishy habits might harm both herself and the planet, as she admits to “indulging” in sushi.

“I indulge in sushi and salads and seafood dishes and – once in a while I allow myself also some French fries or pancakes.”

Joanna is compassionate–she’s already done an anti-fur ad.

Might it be too much to ask Joanna to give us our Holiday wish and go veg completely?

Don’t want her ending up with the Jeremy Piven syndrome.

Imogen Bailey Wanted To Be Lawyer, Now Looking To Act

Imogen Bailey poses for PETA Ad

One vegetarian star is retiring from the film business, one is hoping to make her debut.

Imogen Bailey is looking to launch a career as an actress.

The vegetarian model has graced the cover of several magazines, including Ralph, FHM, ZOO Weekly, Playboy and Black+White Magazine.

She’s also competed in reality TV shows, including “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Celebrity Survivor”, where she won third place.

Perhaps our favorite modeling gigs she’s done are the ones for PETA, such as the one pictured here.

Not to mention she’s super-smart, participated in some highly intelligent nerdy after school activities, and had plans to go to law school. “As a little girl I wanted to be a lawyer. I loved debating and was on all the debating teams,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Loved debating and arguing? No wonder she’s so opinionated and has no problem lending herself to animal rights organizations. At home, she shares space with three Maltese terriers and describes each of them “deaf,” “blind,” and “pure evil.”
