Baseball and dogs are two of America’s favorite things.
It’s easy to see why the New York Mets knew their fans would go wild during September 9th’s game against the Washington Nationals, an event where some of the tickets benefited North Shore Animal League pet shelter.
Seen here is Mets’ pitcher Oliver Perez who has obviously gone to first base with his new four-legged friend named Sassy.
