Special New York Screening of Tyler Perry's Why Did I get Married Too

Black Book Mag caught up with several celebrities at the Why Did I Get Married Too? premiere to find out where they enjoy getting good food in the feature, “Where Celebs Go Out.”

Janet Jackson and Cicely Tyson know where to combine delicious and healthy, as both ladies mentioned vegetarian and vegan restaurants as their favorites.

Janet likes Cafe Sunflower in Atlanta, Georgia as well as Veggieland.

Cicely recommends Pure Food and Wine in LA.

Cicely once said she treats her body like an expensive car, by putting only the best fuel in it.

“I mean, if you have a Rolls-Royce and you pull up to a gasoline station, you don’t put crud in it. You put the most expensive oil and gas in your car. You want it to be treated well in order for it to serve you well. We should start thinking that about this body of ours.”

Janet Jackson has come public with the first interview since her brother Michael Jackson died in June.

In the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Janet discusses how her and Michael would find the time to have vegetarian lunches together, during the filming of the 1995 music video Scream.

“We would organize our days together and go out for vegetarian lunch at the Golden Temple in L.A.,” Janet said. “We were so busy, but we’d make time.”

Several stories have touched on Michael Jackson’s vegetarian diet, along with the occasional fried chicken (argh!) that he would have when he cheated.
