Phil Mickelson casually said he was working on a veggie burger with Five Guys Burger and Fries restaurant, a franchise he bought the rights to before becoming vegetarian.

Until then, don’t forget there are several fast food chains that already offer vegetarian patties. No, they aren’t perfect. Many aren’t vegan. Some of them are cooked on the same surface as meat. But if you happen to wander into an establishment during its quieter hours and ask politely, they may clean the grill or toast it in a separate pan or throw it in the microwave.
