Quantcast Vegetarian StarJason Mraz Spoils Artists With Good Food (Video)

Jason Mraz knows how to get the creative juices flowing.

In an interview with FUSE, the “I’m Yours” singer sat down and discussed one of his favorite spots for generating music.

His retreat is a combination of good organic food, nature and even a few animals here and there.

If you get a lot of work done, that’s great.

If not, at least you’re left with a full belly in the atmosphere of fantastic people.

“We’re growing our own food, so I love to spoil people with healthy, locally grown organic food—and then, through that sense of ease and comfort, creating music at the same time,” Mraz said.

“We’re not trying to reach some ‘smash hit’ outcome; this isn’t going to be a forced thing. If something is born, great! And if not, we’ll try again tomorrow.”

Mraz has been known to spoil more than the artists he hosts.

Back home, the mostly vegan singer tends to an avocado farm.

He’s created recipes from the fruit grown he’s grown and served as a local supplier for a Chipotle restaurant in his region.
