Willie Nelson Cancels SeaWorld Show (Video)

Willie Nelson has decided to cancel a performance at the marine park SeaWorld after a petition online urging him to do so changed his mind about the way it keeps animals in captivity.
“I don’t agree with the way they treat their animals,” Nelson said in an interview with CNN.
Nelson, who has participated in other animal awareness movements, such as rescued horses in the U.S., said that although he doesn’t doubt there are good sanctuaries and other controlled environments for animals, the park that has been under intense investigation for many violations that has led to the death of both animals and a trainer, isn’t one of them.
“What they do at SeaWorld is not okay,” he added.
Nelson joins several other performers who have decided to pull their shows after learning about the conditions orcas live in at the park.
