Amanda Stepenko Other Celebrities Do SPCA Charity Golf Tournament

Several Canadian celebrities are coming out today ot support animal welfare in the SPCA Charity Golf Tournament.
The “Fore for Pets” tournament takes place at the Cooke Municipal Golf Course and will feature several high-profile stars, including World Champion bobsledder Amanda Stepenko, who is also a vegan.
“I’m a vegan, actually, so I’m definitely concerned about not harming really any animals in any way,” she said.
Stepenko is one of several athletes and other figures that are returning to the annual tournament from previous years.
Joining Stepenko will be retired pro hockey player Dave Shultz, Olympic skeleton athletes Amy Gough and Michelle Kelly, Olympic skiers Karen Stemmle and Liisa Savijarvi, former Saskatchewan Roughriders Wes Cates and Dan Rashovich, Canadian Tour golf pro Stuart Anderson and Pro Am golfers Alan McLean and Kent Fukushima.
In addition to athletes, entertainers like Klebba, Singh, Holmes, Wilde, actress Kristen Renton, film and TV writer/director/cartoonist/voice actor Dave Shelton and actor and TV personality Dane Andrew, along with his pet Rascal (known as “the world’s ugliest dog”)
Organizers of the event are hoping to raise $100,000.
