Jaime King Gets Obsessed With Vegan Obsessive Compulsive Lip Gloss

Hart of Dixie actress Jaime King has lightened up her beauty regime a bit after announcing the pregnancy of her child.
“I’ve been trying to avoid wearing any makeup unless I absolutely have to,” King told InStyle.com.
When she does want a little color to accent her natural beauty, King reaches for a pink lip gloss from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, a line created by David Klasfeld, who was obsessed with producing cosmetics with the most quality ingredients.
King’s new favorite shade, Interlace, is an animal right’s girlie girl’s dream, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to start munching on tofu jerky any time soon and letting her armpit hair grow several inches long anytime soon.
“I’m not trying to go hippy-dippy—we still need some fashion.”
Or as Klasfeld puts it on the company’s website:
“You need not necessarily be aligned with animal rights issues to reap the benefits of a vegan cosmetic line: animal ingredients can be amongst the most allergenic and skin reactive, and prevent makeup from being considered Kosher, Halal or otherwise compliant with various dietary (and sanitary!) regulations.”
