Heart of Dixie actress Claudia Lee wore one of Canadian designer Dalia MacPhee‘s environmentally friendly gowns for an underwater shoot to promote her Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
MacPhee has been described by Entertainment Tonight as ‘Couture with a conscious’ and she is donating proceeds from her animal-free designs to several charitable organizations.
Every purchase of a Dalia MacPhee gown will result in a tree being planted in the Tahoe National Forest. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the designs will go toward Women for Women Int., an organization assisting women who have been victimized in war-torn areas of the world.
Finally, proceeds from the shoot itself will go to Water.org, an organization that helps bring clean drinking water to people in areas where it is hard to source.
