Tobey Maguire Inspires Meatless Butcher Shop In Australia

Tobey Maguire’s visit to Australia to film The Great Gatsby has inspired one vegan chef to open her own vegetarian butcher shop.
Suzy Spoon was Maguire’s personal chef while completing the film.
Spoon’s Vegetarian Butcher was co-founded with Chris Moses and carries a variety of faux meat products created by Spoon as well as other vegetarian companies in the area.
“I decided that there would be a lot of people cooking for Tobey so if he really liked my food then that meant other people would like my products as well,” Spoon said.
All products Spoon makes are created by hand with no machinery. Her most popular items are the Sunday Sausages and the Vienna-style Schnitzel.
Her clientele includes both the single consumer as well as food service business like cafes and restaurants that want to options for their vegetarian customers.
