Dita Von Teese Loves Haight Street Vegan Options In San Francisco

Dita Von Teese can’t enough of the veggie shops located in the 18-block district of San Francisco Bay area known as Haight Street.
When in the area, Von Teese said she patronizes her, “favorite vintage stores and stop in the juice bars and vegan restaurants for snack.”*
Beginning on Gough near Market Street and ending right at the entrance to Golden Gate Park at Stanyan Street, Haight Street offers numerous merchants that cater to vegans and vegetarians.
You and your omnivore friend may have a “love and hate” relationship with restaurants that serve meat, but you’ll both be happy at the Love and Haight Deli which–in addition to its meat entrees–serves numerous vegetarian faux deli sandwiches such as vegan burgers, steak, ham and even fish and duck.
Haight also boasts a natural foods store and restaurants that serve international cuisines like Indian and Mexican.
