Alicia Silverstone Seeks Vegan Pregnancy Tales For “Kind Mama”

Alicia Silverstone is writing two new books, The Kind Diet Cookbook and The Kind Mama, and is looking for contributions from her readers and fans.
Silverstone would like to know how a vegan diet contributed to their pregnancies, if any.
“As I write my next book The Kind Mama, I’m looking for anecdotes to feature from members of The Kind Life! You guys are so important to me, especially because I started TheKindLife.com at the same time my book The Kind Diet was published,” writes Silverstone.
“I know not all of you are kind mamas, but I’d love to hear from those of you who have had a kind pregnancy…and for those of you who don’t have kids yet, hopefully this info will be helpful!’
Silverstone posted a series of questions to her blog, The Kind Life, asking readers about their pregnancies and dieting experiences. A few of those questions include:
• Did a vegan diet help you get pregnant?
• How did you handle cravings for naughty foods?
Silverstone would also like to know if her readers had any hesitations about a vegan pregnancy and if any research on the topic helped them reach a conclusion about carrying their child on a diet free of animal products.
Readers may submit answers to the questions by either contacting her directly, submitting them to The Kind Life Forum or leaving a comment on her blog.
