Billy Corgan Tea Shop “Madame ZuZu” Opens

Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan is finally opening his much talked about tea shop in the Chicago suburbs.
Madame Zuzu’s will welcome all ages on Thursday, September 13 at 8:00 a.m., serving as a “social hub for the community, blending tea drinkers with the arts,” states Broadway World.
“I’m a tea guy and living in Highland Park since 2003, I’ve always wanted to open a salon like this for everyone to enjoy,” describes Corgan. “This is a place with no age boundaries. We hope to attract everyone from young students to seniors. With a blend of music, photo galleries, art displays and speakers, I think Madame ZuZu’s offers something for everyone.”
In addition to the varieties of teas, ZuZu’s will offer vegan pastries inspired by international tastes, much like the shop. Drawing from his 1930s love of music, Madame Zuzu’s was designed from a similar establishment that existed in Paris during the times. A piano from the era will be used by future musicians who entertain patrons of the shop.
As of now, hours of operation for Madame Zuzu’s are hours of operation will be Tuesday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday & Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and closed on Mondays.
