Bill Clinton Practices No Harm By Adding Yoga To Vegan Lifestyle

Bill Clinton has discovered what many vegetarians and vegans have known for quite some time–that yoga is a great way to relax and wind down and keep with the diet’s principles of not harming any being.
“Ever since his heart scare, Bill has looked for ways to help him relax,” a source said, according to Radar Online.
“He has a hectic life, he travels a lot on business as an ambassador for the U.S. and needs something to keep him sane.
“Meditation offers him that, he has a mantra that he likes to chant and after every session he feels transformed and full of positive energy.”

The former president who adopted a vegan diet in hopes of reversing some heart disease damage he’s suffered, is practicing an art many believe is in perfect harmony with a vegetarian lifestyle.
One of the core principles in yoga is Ahimsa, which refers to the practice on non-violence.
From Jivamuktiyoga:
“This is the reason vegetarianism is a main tenet of Yoga. You simply cannot eat another being without harming them first.”
A human who practices a plant-based diet and brings no harm to animals may increase his chances of keeping harm away from himself. Diets in animal protein and fats are linked to major diseases like diabetes, obesity and, in the case of Clinton’s former health woes, heart disease.

So has he given up wearing clothing made from animals or other nonfood items with animal parts in them? If not he is NOT practicing a vegan lifestyle and is not practicing ahimsa since nonfood animal products definitely cause harm to other creatures.
