Jillian Michaels Says Go Easy On Dairy For A Flat Belly

Jillian Michaels is on the cover of the June 2012 issue of Women’s Health magazine showing off what limiting dairy can do for your belly.
The former Biggest Loser coach who recently started a nutrition advice column says she recommends going easy on the moo.
“You want to eat things that are high in fiber and that keep moving through your body. For a lot of people, a ton of dairy can screw up digestion and cause bloating.”
Instead of reaching for dairy milk, grab a cold glass of coconut milk instead.
Michaels promoted the So Delicious brand of the beverage and talked extensively about its benefits.
“I read the label, I scrutinized it from top to bottom and I compared it to every single thing on the shelf from dairy to non-dairy products. What I particularly loved were all the health benefits. No pesticides. The coconuts are no genetically modified in any way. In addition, there’s Vitamin D, there’s calcium, there’s medium chain fatty acids, which are great for your heart health, its low in calories.”

Coconut isn’t that great for you either if you have it too much! Very high in fat.
She also might be talking about lactose intolerance which is something different.
Personally I am vegetarian and also stay away from dairy except occasional cheese but I don’t have a flat belly (even though I do karate, swimming or jogging almost every day). Some people just aren’t built like that. I’d have to starve myself to get a flat belly and I’d lose my muscles.
