Kimberly Synder is clinical nutritionist who founded a holistic health business and has appeared on Good Morning America, EXTRA, E! Entertainment, FOX News and Good Day LA. Synder had the honor of preparing Jenna Dewan for her upcoming role in NBC’s drama series The Playboy Club.
Dewan is a vegan who admits she has a craving for the junk food side of the diet, but Synder ensured she ate plenty of wholesome foods to counteract the veggie potato chips.
“For lunch, in the early afternoon, I would make her a salad-based meal, usually a version of my Dharma’s Kale salad with avocado, sprouts, some quinoa or beans (which she loves) and other veggies,” Snyder said. “For dinner, she eats a wide variety of things, such as black bean burritos, baked falafel, or gluten-free, vegan pizza.”
For those of us that aren’t lucky enough to have Snyder’s one-on-one advice, she has written a book, The Beauty Detox Solution, which includes a inspiring titles like “Plant Protein is Beauty Protein” and “There is Nothing Beautiful About Dairy.”
Actress Drew Barrymore praised Synder’s program, saying, “I don’t like to diet, I like to eat right and that’s what Kim’s philosophy is all about. Her food program has had such an impact not only on my body but my health in general. She’s brilliant.”
