Jan Maxwell Aiming For A Vegan Broadway Performance
Written by Vegetarian Star on July 29th, 2011 in Actresses, Broadway and Stage, Food & Drink, pescatarian.

Jan Maxwell has seen success on the stage in productions like Follies and Lend Me A Tenor. Even though she’s following a mostly plant-based diet now, she would like to eat more award-winning vegan meals in the future.
“I’ve always been on some sort of diet,” Maxwell told Grubstreet. “The only thing that has really stuck for a couple of years now is that I’m gluten-free and a pescetarian with vegan aspirations. I’ve always wanted to be a vegetarian.”
The actress told the New York magazine what she eats in a typical week. There’s plenty of granola, Boca Burgers on gluten-free buns, vegetarian nachos and nuts on her menu.
