“Dog Wars” Back On Android Market As “KG Dogfighting”

Just when you thought it was okay to breathe again. That a ridiculous virtual reality dog fighting game that could only do more harm than “raise awareness” to the issue (as its developers claim) was gone.
No, Kage Games has re-branded Dog Wars as “KG Dogfighting,” a name worst than the app’s original.
Dog Wars was pulled because of a trademark issue, although dozens of activists, celebrity and non-celebrity, have urged Android’s owner Google, to pull the app completely, including the Los Angeles police department.
In the letter to Google Chief Executive Officer Larry Page, Los Angeles Police Protective League President Paul M. Weber urged Google “to ban this game permanently.”
“The game teaches users how to breed, train, fight, medicate and kill virtual dogs,” wrote Weber. “The entire concept is repulsive and sickening.”
Despite the condemnation, Kage Cages insists the app designed to “Raise your dog to beat the best” to put “money in your pocket” and “earn more in fights” is harmless, even claiming proceeds will go to animal charities.
