Oprah Goes Vegan And Takes 378 Harpo Staffers With Her

Oprah Winfrey impressed us a little when she went on a 21-day vegan cleanse a couple of years ago on the advice of author Kathy Freston.
Now, O has given the diet another try and she gave the order to 378 of her employees at Harpo to do the same.
In an episode that will air Tuesday, February 1, 2011, Oprah will let millions of viewers learn what it was like when she and the studio gave up meat, dairy and eggs for an entire week.
The episode is coinciding with the release of Freston’s latest book, Veganist.
Michael Pollan, a staunch opponent of factory farms, will also be present.
While the week long vegan diet does make for headlines this month, will Oprah continue to give it attention throughout the rest of the year?

What is important is her motivation. is it because of a surge of love and understanding or it is a marketing effort to sell some products and get commission? i do not know this woman. possibly she has learned that CRIME and MURDER of innocent animals is incorrect and this primitive acts of torturing and killing animals come back to humans as WARS. Idiots learn by PAIN. how many more wars should happen for this primitive species start growing a bit? How many more centuries of violence and crime should pass until this primitive planet learns that, what goes around comes around and they have to become KIND. And Kindness is contradicting killing innocents and eating their corpse. I hope this woman is doing it out of understanding these facts. Because this several billion idiots that I see, and they call themselves (human) follow the CELEBRITY. Possibly doing the right thing like an idiot and following the fashion models and famous people is better than not doing it. At least animals are not being killed until human animals start growing.
