Quantcast Vegetarian StarJoanna Krupa Calls Fur Wearing Kanye “Mutated, 2-Legged Stuff Animal”

Kanye West made a fool of himself when photos of him wearing a long mink coat were posted online, launching a tirade from Twitter users.

Joanna Krupa had a lot more to say than 140 characters, and she started by telling Fox411.com, “If Kanye is wearing a real fur coat — and that’s what it looks like — then I think he’s a man without heart, soul or any common sense.”

“It looks pathetic: He looks like a mutated, two-legged stuffed animal. Anyone who thinks wearing fur is elevating one’s sex-appeal or status must have deep rooted self-esteem issues.”

Yeah, that’s one stuffed animal you don’t want to cuddle up with.

According to the International Fur Trade Federation, about 85% of fur come from farm raised animals. As expected, they reside in cages with little room to move around and often exhibit behaviors such as chewing on their own limbs from the stress. Equally painful experiences await the remaining 15% who are trapped in the wild with devices that injure or kill.

Several countries have banned fur farms entirely, including the United Kingdom and Austria. The Netherlands has phased out fox and chinchilla farming.
