Alyssa Milano’s Organic Garden Present And Garden Tips For Your Region

For their anniversary, Alyssa Milano‘s husband gave her the gift of fresh, locally grown food without harmful pesticides to the environment.
“For our one-year anniversary, my husband built me an organic vegetable garden,” Milano said, according to MNN. “I’m so obsessed with it.We just had our first salad, and it was absolutely scrumptious.”
The vegetarian with several rescue dogs is said to grow several vegetables including arugula, spinach, green beans, broccoli and tomatoes.
In some regions in the world, gardening is the last project to start, as snow and ice have already covered the ground. Organic Gardening has an online guide which gives tips for gardening, from planting to protecting plants during adverse conditions to harvesting, depending on your region in the United States.
Regions are divided into the following: Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, Midwest, North East, Northern Tier, Pacific Coast North, Pacific Coast South, Pacific Northwest, South East and South West. A correspondent from each region is responsible for updating organic green thumbs on the latest and most urgent advice for gardening during each month of the year.
Clicking on the Pacific Coast South, for example, and looking at the month of December, we find tips for managing flowers, watering, composting and pruning.
Water needs are reduced during this time of year in the region, as well as feeding. Some vegetables can still be planted, such as cabbage, celery, lettuce, and Swiss chard.
For tips on organic gardening in the Pacific Coast South and other regions, visit the Organic Gardening Almanac.

This just makes me love Alyssa Milano even more than I already did.
Do you know if she’s vegan or vegetarian, though? I always thought she’s vegetarian but some sources say she’s vegan.
