Dating In The Dark

Dating in the Dark is getting rave reviews from Vegetarian Star this season just because they’re doing such a good job of showcasing meatless babes.

Earlier in the season, the show that lets couples get to know each other in a dark room (ha, ha, not what you’re thinking) to see if they’re compatible without taking looks into account featured a swim instructor who was vegetarian for ethical reasons.

And most recently, the show had two meatless gals, Kayla, a vegan and Kahleel, a vegetarian, trying to score carrots with the men on the show.

Kayla is the stereotypical preachy vegan who wants everybody on organic, whole grain seitan while Kahleel is happy to have people skip the chicken for faux nuggets.

What’s could possibly go wrong? The two veggies want the same guy! Who wins? Watch the episode below to find out.

I didn’t think Kayla was preachy, just standing up for what she believes. There’s a difference between someone who eats meat and goes out and actually kills animals (fish). Glad the show had a pro-animal slant to it. I would have chosen Kayla. Pretty girl and seemed very sweet.

I hate when guys equate vegan/vegetarian girls with high maintenance, preachy or not liking bbqs. What you can’t grill veggies or fake meats for me? It’s not that big of an issue guys.

Kayla was not being preachy – it was more like she was educating the others (and the viewers) about being a vegan. She was also very kind and friendly as well as extremely beautiful. Her healthy appearance is probably mostly due to her vegan diet. She seems like someone who I would have felt totally comfortable and at ease with, and I would have been proud to have had her with me. If I had been Harrison, I would have made a beeline for the balcony, hugged pretty Kayla, and taken her out of the mansion with me.
