Quantcast Vegetarian StarMore Details On Steve Wynn Casino Restaurants’ Vegan Items

After hearing the news that casino owner Steve Wynn has mandated all his restaurants serve vegan options, we’ve discovered a source that gives more detail as to how a meat, fish, egg and dairy-free Vegas lover can satisfy themselves at his Las Vegas and Encore resorts.

We’re please to say, after looking over the offerings, there’s no sign of what Vegan.com called a “half-assed grilled vegetable plate slop” at Red 8, Okada, The Pizza Place or any of his other dozen restaurants.

But here’s a sample of what you may order instead:

At Okada: cold soba noodles; hot udon; robata grilled vegetables; fried vegetable roll with vegan tempura dipping sauce; agedashi edamame tofu; coconut lime pudding.

At Pizza Place: house salad; tofu parmesan sandwich with soy cheese.

At Sinatra: black lentil salad; couscous with poached vegetables; pineapple carpaccio with pistachios and coconut ice cream.

At Zoozacrackers: vegetable sandwich; matzo ball soup.

At The Country Club: watermelon gazpacho; sweet corn chowder; chilled heirloom tomato soup; sesame seared tofu salad; tossed cob salad.

Commenters at Las Vegas City Life, which lists selections available at all restaurants, are expressing excitement.

“Couldn’t be happier! I’ve been to Vegas many times, and have been left with the usual broccoli, etc., as my dinner companions eat away! Its to the Wynn I shall go hereafter! Thanks Steve!”

“I believe this is a sorely needed grand idea! it really is a challenge getting the “respect” for choosing to not eat animals, or their bi-products. Thank you Mr. Wynn!”
