Kesha Reveals What She Ate To Ok! Magazine–Is It Enough?

Ok! magazine has a regular column titled, “What I Ate,” where a nutritionist gives the lowdown on a celebrity’s diet.
According to The Frisky, Kesha recently gave readers a glimpse into her day where she ate lots of tofu, nuts and veggies.
“Usually, it’s boring. But this week Ke$ha revealed that she ate nothing but green tea, almonds, candy, veggies with barbecue sauce, and tofu in an entire day.”
OK! adds, “The nutritionist has never been more flabbergasted,” probably referring to the obvious difference between Kesha’s diet and the usual burgers or chicken fillets most people would describe.
Kesha’s total caloric intake for the day was under 600 calories, which technically means Kesha should have helped herself to another serving of tofu since an average female her age who’s sedentary (which of course, someone who prances around stage singing “TiK ToK” is definitely not) needs at least 2,000 a day to keep healthy.
An article from kidshealth.org states:
“Diets that are high in fiber tend to be more filling, and as a result strict vegetarians may feel full before they’ve eaten enough calories to keep their bodies healthy and strong.”
While a vegetarian diet is one of the healthiest out there, don’t forget to count calories–as in making sure you have enough.
