Sheryl Crow Says “Good Is Good” But Green Is Better For Concerts
Written by Vegetarian Star on August 12th, 2010 in Environment-Eco-Green, Female Musicians, Female Singers, Food & Drink.

The Smoking Gun has obtained Sheryl Crow‘s tour rider. Crow is working with Reverb, an organization which helps musicians educate their fans on greener living, to ensure her tour is more eco-friendly, so there are requirements for food to be organic, dishware to be biodegradable and cleaning supplies be non-toxic.
Crow’s tour is not meat-free, but the snacks backstage include many vegetarian items like organic hummus, organic salsa and chips, veggie trays, organic raw almonds and walnuts and plenty of organic fruit like bananas, apples, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries.
Disposable napkins are to be made from 100% recycled fibers and cups are biodegradable and non-petroleum.
There is also a request to provide several recycling bins throughout the venue for plastic bottles and the goal is to have a ratio of 1:1 of trash cans to recycle bins.
