Lea Michele Feels Bad For Eating Fish
Written by Vegetarian Star on June 10th, 2010 in Actresses, Animal Issues, Environment-Eco-Green, Food & Drink, pescatarian.
The fact that Lea Michele calls herself a vegan, but still occasionally eats fish does annoy. After all, we’re only asking that she use to word pescatarian and avoid the Eco-Worst ones.
However, the Glee actress doesn’t consume Charlie without guilt, as Ok! magazine reported her as saying, “I feel bad about it because fish are animals too.”
Michele has previously stated the reason for her fishy breath was due to protein issues, but we can mouth off several dozen that don’t swim.
Any suggestions?

This is more than annoying to me. And why the heck is she nominated for “PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian 2010”? Just because she can’t tell the difference between a pescatarian and vegan doesn’t mean we can’t.
And there are plenty of animal-free foods out there with just as much protein as fish. You’d think a self-proclaimed “vegan” would know that.

Another reason that we shouldn’t look to celebrities for leadership or inspiration about veganism, animal rights, or any serious social issue.

Bizarre. I just read that interview talking about her being a vegan but that she still eats fish. Well you are NOT a vegan then, not even a vegetarian.

hilarious to see these celebs who want to be “vegan” because it’s fashionable now.
Next thing these “vegan” celebs do is trash us and backstab us, making cranky jokes about vegan food (Tyson), blame us vegans for being stiff (the drunk cheese eating vegan actress) or stop being vegan because they “lack proteins” ! 😛
