Kristin Bauer “True Blood” Star Eats Meat Twice A Year

Kristin Bauer from HBO’s True Blood is so close to being vegetarian, we’re going to award her an Honorable Mention.
The actress recently attended the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine’s 25th Anniversary Gala where she revealed she only eats meat about twice a year.
“I find it hard to find the words on how much it pains me,” Kristin said regarding how some animals are abused or mistreated.
The two times she does eat meat are at Christmas gatherings with the family.
“But I buy the free range meat at least,” she added.
Looking forward to the day when Kristin announces she’s making a seitan loaf or Tofurky for the next family gathering.

Seems obsessive. I will never understand why women do this. Humans eat meat. Eating a hamburger won’t make you a murderer. You aren’t saving the animal. It is killed whether you eat it or not. If anything, you simply allow its meat to go to waste. Eating meat is a normal part of life in this world. And animals are not tortured. PETA wants you to believe that, and maybe in some parts of the world it happens at times, but most countries, including America, have laws against animal abuse. You can buy free range meat. Allowing yourself meat twice a year is obsessive behavior. Plain and simple. Moderation is the most important thing. You can be perfectly healthy eating meat twice a month. You don’t need to go to an absolute extreme and eliminate it permanently from your diet for life. I don’t know why women seem to think that is so healthy. An extreme of anything can be bad.
