Gordon Ramsay Says No Nut Roast–”Gordon’s Great Escape”
Written by Vegetarian Star on January 19th, 2010 in Chefs, Food & Drink, Not So Vegetarian.
As previously reported, Gordon Ramsay took a tour of India last year to film his reality TV show, Gordon’s Great Escape.
Gordon’s Great Escape featured much vegetarian cooking and given the Hell’s Kitchen chef’s history of negative comments about the food, some wondered how Ramsay would react in the land of veggies and curry.
Apparently, some of the experiences weren’t stimulating enough.
“Lentils, pumpkins, I can’t get excited with seeds,” he said, according to the BBC Radio 1. “I don’t want to sit down and eat a nut roast. I need meat, fish and chicken.”
Sigh…Maybe the next veg escape will be more titillating.
