President and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States Wayne Pacelle recently interviewed with Northern California’s public radio station KQED where he discussed the most recent seal hunt initiated in Canada, his new book, The Bond, and numerous animal welfare issues.
Pacelle mentions that while the morality of the seal hunt makes it an obvious practice that should end, even those who don’t object to it morally should not see any reason for it to continue on an economic level.
