Meatless Mouthful–Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall Gets Creative With Vegetables

“I enjoy all aspects of cooking but like many chefs I’ve been lazy about veg. Meat and fish are tyrannical and dominate so much that anything else becomes a supporting act. The minute you put meat and fish aside you become much more creative with your veg.”
–Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, on his recent decision to go vegetarian. Hugh has kept the creativity for about five months now. We congratulate him on his decision to go veg. But this photograph may have him getting more creative with vegetables than we asked for.
