“We often say that we are not perfect, but at the same time, more and more people like to talk about this side of our brand. There are definitely other aspects to consider. There are organic fabrics, low impact dyes. My fashions are mainly made in Italy, so child labor is not an issue for us. We work a lot on fair trade. The first question that comes up when we open a store is ‘Can we use wind power?’ Sometimes we can, sometimes we can’t. Because it’s a mindset, it comes quite naturally.”

Pamela Anderson Press Conference Ahead Of Big Brother Appearance

Tis the season for returns.

The giving and receiving phase is over. Now it’s time to gather those gift receipts, switch and swap, and yes, even re-gift everything you got last month that you don’t like. Ideally, you got what you wanted. Wonder if Pamela Anderson did as well…

Last month she told Female First that all she wanted for Christmas was Stella McCartney. Now before you guys go drooling at the thought of what this might mean, we’ll set the record straight: she’s talking about cruelty-free fashion.

“You feel very alive wearing her clothes and knowing nothing has been killed,” she said.

Pamela once said she felt bad at the thought of starting the trend of wearing Ugg boots-which are made of sheepskin-that she eventually stopped wearing.

“I feel so guilty for that craze being started around my ‘Baywatch’ days – I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm – never realising that they were SKIN! I thought they were shaved kindly. People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend – yikes!”
