Alec Baldwin And Wife Hilaria Baldwin Protest Macy’s SeaWorld Float

Alec Baldwin and his wife, yoga guru to the stars Hilaria Baldwin, have written a letter to the officials of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, suggesting they find a replacement for the SeaWorld float in this year’s festivities.
The Baldwins are among many celebrities who have voiced their concerns over the marine park’s policies on the confinement of animals, as well as its safety protocols to protect trainers.
Several whales have died while in captivity, and many who live there have shorter life spans than those that live in the wild.
Alec and Hilaria emphasize this is their letter to Macy’s Inc.
“At least 35 orcas and dozens of dolphins have died prematurely at SeaWorld parks, which should not be celebrated with a giant Shamu float parading down 34th Street. Please don’t be a part of SeaWorld’s crisis-management plan. We join thousands of other PETA members in urging you to cancel SeaWorld’s part in the parade.”
