MC Lyte–Vegan Diet May Help Her Stay “Lyte As A Rock”

If you’ve ever wondered how one of the first famous female rappers who broke into the industry in the 80s manages to look as good as she looked when her 1988 album, Lyte as a Rock debuted, look no further than what she puts into her mouth.
The 42-year old MC Lyte shared with US Magazine some of her secrets in an article titled “25 Things You Didn’t Know About Me.”
She keeps her gorgeous smile with Tom’s Toothpaste, a vegan-friendly company that does not test on or use ingredients sourced from animals.
Her choice of dental hygiene products fits nicely with her diet, as #6 on the list is, “I’m vegan and I love it.”
If you’re lucky enough to score a coffee date with her, be prepared to go to a shop that offers non-dairy options.
Number #10 reveals that she only drinks almond milk in her lattes.
