Cory Booker Gets Veggie Burger Named For Him At Strip Club

Cory Booker exchanged a few messages with a dancer at Portland, Oregon’s famous vegan strip club, Casa Diablo.
Lynsie Lee told the Newark, New Jersey mayor:
“If you come to see me at @CasaDiablo tonight, bring your wallets. I’m prime meat for the next couple of days! ;)”
Politicians and sexy ladies always make news, but this time they’re also making something delicious!
Diablo has named one of its veggie burgers in Booker’s honor.
The “Booker Burger,” is “soy protein, more protein than a regular burger, no saturated fat, no cholesterol,” and comes with the option of having extra vegan mayonnaise.
“Extra mayo,” owner Diable said, is “because of the mayor.” Mayo. Mayor. Get it?”
Ouch!
Hopefully visitors to Casa Diablo will get the taste of the burger better than the joke.
Last year, Booker, a vegetarian, joined a trend among politicians attempting to better understand the plight of those living in poverty. He bought groceries and tried to eat with the amount of money given to a single food stamp recipient in the state.
