Christie Brinkley‘s daughter is following in her footsteps and may be the next biggest cover girl since mom.
Mother and daughter Sailor shared the spotlight for Bella NYC magazine and the model recently attended a party event for the magazine in the Hamptons.
Almost into her sixth decade, Christie is certainly in a position to dispense a few tips on looking young and staying healthy.
She was asked by Joonbug magazine what her secrets were.
“I’m a vegetarian. I also try to eat colorful fruits and vegetables — I eat a lot of colorful veggies. Also, don’t forget to smile. I think that’s so important.”
Practicing what she preaches, Christie’s actions show how important she feels both traits are for your well-being.
She has been honored for supporting Smile Train, an organization that enables children around the world to smile better by performing restorative mouth and dental work, such as fixing cleft lips and cleft palates.
And the woman who’s been a vegetarian since childhood has never even tasted a fast food burger.
“Never. Never ever in my whole life. I’ve never tasted McDonalds or Jack in the Box, because I was a vegetarian before those ever existed.”
Can you imagine a world before Big Macs existed?
In Christie’s case, being aged helps to retain beauty.
