Kareena Kapoor is a fantastic model for health.

The Bollywood actress who’s been following a vegetarian diet for years is one of several featured in the DVD that encourages healthier eating through Indian foods, The Indian Food Wisdom and the Art of Eating Right.

The DVD is not the first place where Kareena has shared some of her diet and fitness secrets.

A regular star to discuss plant-based eating in the news, she recently took time to share what her favorite Indian foods are that keep her looking great for the camera.

“Pulao and Raita or Kadhi and rice…since I am a vegetarian I enjoy eating paneer, infact earlier I didn’t like it at all 6 to 7 years back. But now I see that when I am out for dinner somewhere the first thing I order is Palak Paneer, Mattar Paneer eating with 2 rotis or rice,” she said.

Kareena said she is happy the DVD she is featured on was created and that she can be a part of something that will help people learn to eat better and improve their health.

The diet certainly seems to be working for her.

“Indian food is something when I come home after a hard days work its just kind of keep me at piece and at the same time keeps me look great,” she said.
