He might choose Philly’s Hip City Veg.
If not for the delicious plant-based salads, burgers and sides, at least for a glass of its green lemonade.
The singer-songwriter is in the city to perform with the Barenaked Ladies tonight in the Mann Center for the “Last Summer on Earth” tour.
If you stop by the restaurant before the show or any other time, ask for a glass of the beverage that’s made from “fresh squeezed lemons & organic kale juice” and “lightly sweetened with raw organic agave nectar.”
Use it to wash down a sandwich like the tofu curry wrap, the ziggy burger with tempeh or the Jerk Caesar salad featuring jerk flavored faux chicken.
