Forbes has named California-based vegan restaurant chain Veggie Grill as one of the fastest growing companies of the year.
In an article titled, “15 Explosively Growing Companies to Watch This Year,” Forbes explains how the restaurant, enjoyed by vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, has been able to fill a demand for fast food that is not only healthy, but happens to be plant-based as well.
Writes Forbes:
“Having recently raised $20 million, Veggie Grill is taking the fast food industry by storm. With revenue up more 100% from last year and plans to open up new locations in Orange County, San Diego and Seattle, it is clear this is one restaurant that understands healthy food and will be serving more and more of it.”
A vegetarian restaurant that earns praise from a renown business and money magazine is an honor worth noting.
What’s equally impressive is the unique selection of plant-based foods, especially those of that mimic classic diner and comfort food dishes.
Diners can choose from several veggie burgers and wraps, tacos, soups, and appetizers and side dishes like wings, macaroni and cheese and nachos on the menu.
