Mary McCartney–Vegetarian Kids Aren’t Struggle But Brussels Sprouts Are

Mary McCartney has an interview with AM New York that covers her latest cookbook, Food, as well as her inspiration for behind the vegetarian meals she creates.
Many were taught the basics of cooking from mom, but Mary insists her father and famous ex Beatle Paul was as good of a cook as he is still a musician.
Her mother Linda is often credited for introducing the entire family to vegetarianism.
As for the issue of raising her own children vegetarian, Mary said it has never been an issue.
“It is not a struggle … as I think ahead to cook recipes that I am content will deliver the health element I want them to have, but that they will enjoy eating. I make them soups that I blend, so they don’t consider the amount of vegetables or white beans they are consuming. I don’t like to debate over how much they need to eat. I just want them to eat it and enjoy it.”
And if the children are ever picky, it’s understandable as there are vegetables she won’t even touch.
“I do not cook much with Brussels sprouts! They are my least favorite vegetable.”
